These example programs demonstrate how to use the direct
interface of ATM on the Macintosh to draw rotated,
skewed, and scaled type. The calls used in these programs
are described in the document "Advanced Type Capabilities
Using Adobe Type Manager on the Macintosh". This document
is available from Adobe Developer Support at the number
below.
These two pieces of example code are written for use
with the Think LightSpeed C programming environment.
There are problems using the included interface files with
other programming environments, specifically MPW C,
and Pascal programming environments. In those cases,
glue code to the ATM routines are needed since the
calling argument size and order differs from that
in LSC. This code will be available in the near future
from Adobe Developer Support as the ATM Programmer's
Disk version 2.0. Also look for the new code from the same
place you obtained this file.
